Snow and soybeans shouldn't mix
Some nice-looking soybeans in this image, right? This is the way harvest is supposed to look, right? Sadly, a lot of soybeans in the Upper Midwest -- and the area harvest -- won't be looking like this much longer.
Just got off the phone with a North Dakota farmer. He told me that snow has begun falling in his yard -- and that's he only begun harvesting his soybeans. It's safe to say he won't be the only area farmer fitting that description over the next few days.
If you're among the farmers whose harvest is being disrupted by snow, drop me a line at email@example.com. Consider including an image of snow in an unharvested field.
To state the obvious: Let's all hope the snow is limited and that dry, warm weather returns quickly.
